vegan sour cream

A quick and easy vegan sour cream sauce; perfect for topping our delicious chana masala.  Yum!

 

ingredients

 

100g cashews, soaked for 5 hours*

150ml water

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper

 

*you can reduce soaking time to 2 hours but the result will not be quite as smooth.

 

 

 

Prep:  10 mins

Cook:  0 mins

Serves:  6

 

 

 

1.  Blend the ingredients together for 5-10 minutes until nice and smooth.
