chocolate overnight oats

Overnight oats are a ‘go to’ for busy weeks and early mornings, waiting in the fridge for you to grab and go.  They take just a few minutes to prepare and can be made in a batch so that you have breakfast ready for several days to come.


The nutrient-rich cacao makes these overnight oats rich and deliciously chocolatey.  Try topping them with fresh banana, a drizzle of coconut nectar and a sprinkling of cacao nibs for a satisfying crunch.




40g rolled oats

20g cacao powder

150ml almond milk (or other dairy-free milk)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp vanilla powder (or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract)

1 tbsp coconut nectar




Prep:  5 minutes

Cook:  Leave overnight

Serves:  1

1.  Mix all of the dry ingredients together.


2.  Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir well.


3.  Leave the mix in the fridge over night and enjoy from the next morning onwards.
